Designer Ruby Slevin is behind the Banshee of Savile Row brand, which recently unveiled its newest collection named Interwoven, inspired by the talented artist Eleanor Ekserjian. Growing up surrounded by galleries and imbued with artistic influences from her family, Ruby found inspiration when Eleanor, who initially came as a client, developed their mutual admiration for craft and design. "It was a dream come true to put this together and one of those pinch me moments..." Slevin remarked, underlining the significance of this collaboration.

The AW25 show took place at London's Messum’s Art Gallery, where the atmosphere was electrifyingly artistic. Slevin fuelled ideas for the collection utilising her Irish heritage, presenting Eleanor with Donegal Tweed and Irish linen swatches. The live backdrop of Eleanor's completed paintings provided the perfect setting as she painted live during the fashion show, creating a wearable piece of art as models showcased the collection.

The Banshee brand, the first and only fully bespoke tailoring house for women on Savile Row, draws its name from powerful female symbolism within Irish mysticism. Their new line harmonises feminine energy with masculine silhouettes, featuring tuxedo styles adorned with elegant silk bow ties and pocket squares. Each item is crafted as a limited edition, ensuring each piece is unique.

The fusion of fashion with art is creating enriching narratives around personal style as consumers seek unique and expressive garments.
